James qualified as a Solicitor in 2002 and is a Partner in the firm’s Real Estate team.
James has a wide range of property experience with a particular expertise in:
- All aspects of property development including residential, commercial and mixed-use schemes
- Commercial landlord and tenant
- Acting for corporate occupiers (retail, leisure and offices)
- Dealing with the real estate aspects of renewable energy projects
Examples of recent work include:
- Advising on the acquisition of a phased development site in North London for the construction of 144 dwellings
- Site acquisitions and disposals for a listed leisure operator
- Acting on solar park developments with an aggregate capacity in excess of 150MW
- Sale of newly developed student housing site for in excess of £65m.
