Jonathan is an Associate in the Litigation team specialising in Commercial Disputes, with a focus on insolvency and banking litigation.

Jonathan acts for various levels of stakeholders including secured lenders, insolvency practitioners (in their various capacities as liquidators, administrators and receivers), directors and shareholders, and provides advice on all aspects of the corporate and personal insolvency process.

Jonathan’s practice also focuses on a wide range of commercial litigation and insolvency disputes including:

  • Contractual disputes,
  • Shareholder and Company’s Act disputes,
  • advising insolvency practitioners and office holders on all aspects of the insolvency regime, pursuing claims on behalf of insolvent companies against former office holders, bringing and defending bankruptcy proceedings,
  • Enforcement action on behalf of lenders, including mortgage possession claims and money claims, and
  • Claims for misrepresentation claims and fraud.

Jonathan qualified as a solicitor in April 2019 in England and Wales and joined Brecher in 2022.
