Kevin is a Partner and leads Brecher’s Employment Team. He is experienced in providing legal support on employment related matters to in-house legal departments, HR teams and senior executives.
Kevin’s practice focuses on all aspects of HR matters and includes: resolving issues relating to employee relations, managing litigation disputes (often complex or with reputational repercussions where his experience as a former barrister assists greatly), advising on post termination restraints and confidentiality, providing transactional support and assisting with senior executive and team hires/exits. Kevin has considerable experience in corporate restructuring, including advising on negotiations with employee representatives and trade unions. He regularly supports international clients on establishing UK operations, managing employee relations, global restructurings and establishing global advice helplines. Kevin’s experience extends to advising a number of regulated clients in the financial services sector.
Kevin’s clients are diverse including start-ups, professional firms, financial institutions, hedge funds and private equity firms, charities and third sector employees, manufacturers and construction firms.
Kevin prides himself in ensuring that he thoroughly understands his clients’ businesses to effectively manage their employment issues, in manner consistent with their culture.
Kevin regularly provides in-house training on employment law/practices/procedures (including Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) to senior management and In-house Legal/HR; many of which have been over subscribed!
