Simon is a Senior Associate in the Real Estate Litigation team specialising in complex commercial and residential property related disputes, including landlord and tenant (such as dilapidations, forfeiture, breach of covenant, contested lease renewals), rights of light, trespass, and insolvency.

Simon has acted in numerous reported and precedent-setting cases including Bath Rugby Ltd v Greenwood [2021] EWCA Civ 1927 (concerning the enforceability of a restrictive covenant preventing the redevelopment of a sports stadium), School Facility Management Ltd v Governing Body of Christ the King College [2020] EWHC 1118 (Comm) (clarifying an asset finance company’s ability to deal with public bodies), and Lewis v Tamplin [2018] EWHC 777 (Ch) (providing further guidance on the right of a trust beneficiary to obtain information from a trustee).

Simon is also passionate about pro bono work and was recently involved on that basis in a five-day High Court trial concerning beneficial interests in land subject to an order for sale.

Simon is a member of the Property Litigation Association.
